Abstract This research aims to investigate the possible relationship between the interpretation of the tale "Hansel and Gretel" and different development contexts of children aged between 7 and 11 years. This study focuses on the restructuring of the contemporary family in relation to marital status of parents, and articulates with another study that emphasizes the number of siblings of the child. For the theoretical framework will be used the concepts of Jean Piaget (1896 - 1980) about the stages of child development, linking cognitive and affective aspects. Through the Clinical Interview method proposed by this author, the interpretation of fairy tales will be the instrument to investigate the stage of child development and how the relationship between parents can affect the understanding and interpretation of history. | |
