Abstract

One of the biggest problems detected during the processes of plant micropropagation is the contamination of culture medium resulting from inadequate disinfestation, usually observed within 15 days after explants inoculation. The removal of the epiphytic microbiota is essential to obtain healthy seedlings. However, it is much common microorganisms occurrence after the establishment of seedlings, resulting in discard of numerous commercial individuals with high value. However, can to consider that manifestation is characterized as responses of the endophytic microbiota that colonize plant tissues, the possible physical or nutritional stresses that involve the environment in vitro. Showing that this presence is a result of succession of bacterial species, which remain in the explants used as a source of clonal multiplication. A good result for the control of bacterial expression in vitro in an attempt to keep the stuff in development, is the aplication of antibiotic treatment in the culture medium. In this context, the main objective of this project is to establish efficient protocols for the manifestation of chemical control of endophytic bacteria in the process of micropropagation of Eucalyptus, by testing for antibiotic therapy, and to identify any differences between the niches for colonization of explants sources (crown's megaestaca and girdling of the base), for histological and molecular techniques (DGGE).
