Abstract

The concern for security, noise control and the stability and comfort of dynamical systems, is currently one of the items of greatest interest in the case of the automotive industry in general. This fact makes the industries to invest extensively in developing innovative techniques to improve the performance of existing machines. It is therefore of great importance to analyze the behavior of automotive systems and also with the application of mathematical and computational techniques, the possibility of further evolution and sophistication of these systems. You can monitor the parameters of mechanical systems. Account with the aid of well-defined theoretical models and also with some methods of simulation and modeling. In this paper, the objective is an effective contribution to the scientific study of behavior of a vehicle subject to loading platform which can vary greatly over time, called dynamic loading. For this, the use of methodologies for fault diagnosis is crucial, and this work will be used for state observers, a very interesting technique because it allows reconstruction of the unmeasured states, and we can thus estimate parameters measures physicists from inaccessible places, belonging to the system. It is intended to use the finite element method, thus being able to analyze a number of representative elements enough to understand the behavior of the entire structure under study. It is intended that the final result is the development of a methodology for fault diagnosis (such as reduction of stiffness and mass, for example) using state observers in a vehicle platform, excited by unbalance forces.
