Abstract

Against the general process of geographical space organization - coming from the unequal productive activities of distribution and the territory's population - is essential to understand the dimension reached by urbanization in the contemporaneity, provided that the winning city in its expansion, as a result of actual play social. The constant and unequal internal space production and transformation of the of the cities aren't randomly formed , but responds to patterns of land use, particularized by the historical moment and the corresponding decisions and actions of various public and private, in the past that reconstruct the present, conditioning the future. This unequal process intensifies when operated from the applied strategies followed by the fraction of capital relating to staff developers, working in the transformation of urban land uses and the selective production of the internal spaces of cities, making evident alongside the socio-spatial inequalities expansion and directions of contemporary urbanization. So, working with data from real estate ads in the period from 1995 to 2010 this research project puts into compared perspectives of the characteristics of property markets in two cities that stand out in the urban network which they belong: Londrina and Ribeirão Preto. The aim is thus to grasp processes that are common between them and others particular to each one
