Abstract

The present study intends to describe, interpretively, the social and political reality in which happens an intercultural care experienced by individuals - indigenous users, Ameridians health professionals and non indigenous - in an intermedicality area of a village. Although, for that, it will be necessary to identify related experiences in the intercultural care process and of self-care shared by the indigenous; to watch the practices related to the care built among the health agents and the indigenous people; to set limits and characterize the main values, the knowledge and the beliefs used by the subjects during the intercultural care. The ethnographic method will be employed as a theoretical and methodological research. The leading subjects will be: the caring actors, wich includes the health workers and the users of rural villages as "Córrego do Meio" and "Oliveiras", as well as the urbanized village of "Tereré". Locals where most of indigenous people are from terena ethnicity. As secondary subjects, it will be considered the healing agents, such as the midwives, the healers, the xamãs. The resources used in data collection wilil be waching the participation and the interviews. Regarding to data analysis, it will be held on and after the field work. The analysis will include the data organization into units of meaning, to thereby build the centers of meanings.
