Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze irregular migration through human rights protection in Brazil. The basic question that will guide the entire study is: what is the extent of the rights that irregular migrants can exercise according to Brazilian laws? Three fields will be discussed: right to public education, right to public health care, workers rights. Besides, the research will look for practical obstacles that irregular migrants face to exercise their rights, since some factor such as fear, ignorance and long distances, usually make it difficult for these people to enjoy the legal protection given to them.
