Abstract

This project proposes a framework to the selection of logistic service in the retail sector from the point of view of Transports, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Third-party-Logistics (3PL) based on a multicriteria analysis from a specific issue of regular project FAPESP 2011/19271-9. The criteria which have been considered in this structure were collected through a case study that started with DHL Supply Chain, a 3PL with global reach, and interviews with transporters and CPG in order to verify how it is the selection of suppliers among these partners. A questionnaire has been designed from this investigation and the literature review and the survey has been applied to 1800 partners (CPG, 3PL and Transporters). The purpose is to analyse the 139 questionnaire has been collected, through statistical techniques and it will be used on the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) model as a structure considering various criteria and their comparative importance. The contribution of this project is to understand the process of the selection of the suppliers in the retail sector and to propose a framework to this selection including the collaborative logistics and a sustainable criterion.
