Abstract

This project aims to propound the communication of research developed by the Brazilian Anthropological Association (ABA) members, the enhancement of the general communication as practiced by the entity, as well as collaborating with a more efficient compilation of the Brazilian academic production within the area. The Association, which is a non-profit organization, intends to contribute with the development of Anthropology in Brazil and also to assemble researchers and professionals in the area in order to foster debate on issues of its interest - mainly education and defense of human rights and ethnical minorities. The work will be developed through the publication of articles at the electronic magazine ComCiência, at the Association website and other communication channels, both through formal press (specialized or non-specialized in science reporting) and through social network profiles administered by ABA. The action shows itself relevant because it meets the science outreach interdisciplinary character as practiced by ComCiência, besides broadening the space given to the discussion of themes connected to Anthropology within the academic realm and outside it - which is utterly important, mainly given the latest facts related to indigenous, environmental and human rights issues in Brazil involving governmental decisions.
