Abstract

The purpose of this project is the chemo-enzymatic synthesis of boronic amino esters from their hydroxy-boronic precursors. A key step using enzymatic kinetic resolution (KR) of alcohols will be applied to obtain both enantiomeric forms. Lipase-B of Candida antarctica (CAL-B) was the biological catalyst chosen for the KR process. Besides, chiral azides will be prepared and used as starting materials for triazoles.(AU)
