Abstract

The relationships within the school environment, as well as any other type of interaction between people, can not be understood in a deep way if ignored relationships that are culturally constructed and historically located. For sociomoral cooperative environment is conducive to the construction of autonomy, it is necessary to take care of school life, allowing students to experience situations in which democracy, respect, cooperation, justice, equality and fairness are present and that actions are experienced and reflected. The mediating role of teacher-school and community was established in March 2010 by the Department of Education of the State of SP to protect the schools of the state of risk factors and vulnerability and bring the school community. The British Method named Lesson Study involves a group of teachers to collectively develop a lesson about a given subject, and from action and reflection cycles. Add the experience that I have been accumulating in research and understanding of the mediation process and mediator role of teacher education with knowledge about modes of action and intervention in their training: this is why plead assistance to conduct research abroad, being the host city of the Centre of Applied Research Education (CARE), Norwich (UK) for 87 days. I think this could work with a deeper understanding of this complex object that is to mediate conflicts in school. Studying with the authors about the concepts covered as well as discuss about the theoretical and methodological aspects of Lesson Study can bring essential contributions to the research I have been developing in Brazil, with completion scheduled for July 2014.
