Abstract

Starting from a conception of critical and reflective teacher, this research proposal is linked to the Graduate Program in Education of FCT/UNESP in the search line "Public Policy, Organization and Training of School Teachers" and aims general to investigate the possible contributions of PIBID for initial training of teachers. This is a qualitative research approach, and the case study, which will be the object of study PIBID Group's Degree in Mathematics from Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho". We as subjects members to participate directly in the process of development and implementation of educational activities in the public schools of the State Network in Presidente Prudente (SP). To this end, we analyze data from PIBID meetings, observations of lessons in which the activities developed are applied, as well as some legal documents that support the implementation of this program in the universities. Will be used as theoretical studies that address the issue of teacher education and its relation to the link between theory and practice. Data analysis, it is expected that the results showing the extent of proposing still in initial teacher training in situations that allow the alignment of academics with the school context, since it contributes to the formation of professional identity, as well as identifying measures contributing effectively to a better articulation between theory and practice from the experience of a research that discusses how training policy, the school as the locus of teacher learning.
