Abstract

The process of use of finite natural resources defies all industrial sectors, including the civil construction and architecture and consequently increases the concern about the sustainable management of natural resources leading to the introduction of ecological building systems. New ecological building systems must be developed. This study will manufacture modules-scale panels made with bamboo structure and closure Oriented Strand Board (OSB). Some mechanical properties will be evaluated to assess the quality of the proposed system: eccentric compression tests (NBR11680), impact (NBR 11675), translation, rotation and deformation of the panel (ASTM E 564 and ASTM E 72).
