Abstract

In this project we are developing a study of the topology/geometry of local and global singularities for a special class of real polynomial maps introduced by Mutsuo Oka known as "mixed polynomials." To this end, we will be mixing some well known techniques from local/global studies(as described in the project) and developing new tools that allow us to find topological invariants and get a possible classification of these singularities.
