Abstract One of the most frequent complaints from residents of residential buildings is the nuisance caused by noise impacts on systems floor / ceiling resulting from walking or fall of objects. According to the national and international standards, assess the acoustic performance of these systems depends on the use of standardized equipments and certificates. In order to attend methods of acoustic evaluation performance suggested by the norms of acoustic performance, it is necessary to import much of the recommended equipment, causing disorders of various orders. The evaluation of the acoustic insulation of floors subjected to impacts depends on the use of a standardized source of impacts (Tapping Standard Machine) as a generator of the noise for analysis. The NBR 15,575 indicates the method as describes to ISO 140-7. In Annex A of this standard are described the characteristics of the machine. This project aims to build a noise source of impacts standardized to evaluate the acoustic performance of floors. The impact sound level will be registered in different configurations of floor/ceiling, first with the commercial machine and then with the built machine. In order to qualify the equipment built, these results will be compared. | |
