Abstract

Dielectric ceramics are essential in preparing and miniaturizing electronic devices. The titanates are included in this class of functional ceramic materials, with optical and ferroelectric properties, and therefore, are being intensively investigated by the scientific community over the past decades. In this paper, we propose an investigative study of the electrical properties of strontium titanate (SrTiO3) and the influence of isomorphic partial substitution of lattice modifier Ca/Sr in these properties. For this study, it is suggested to use the microwave-assisted hydrothermal method in the preparation of the ceramic powder and the achievement of films deposited by the electrophoresis method. The structural and morphological characteristics of powders and films must be accompanied by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. (AU)
