The greimassian Semiotics is a collective project of theoretical construct. Such project requires to be studied from the point of view of its history and epistemology. This study proposes a reflection of an historical and conceptual nature about the Narrative Semiotics of greimassian inspiration, from the originals ideas of V. Propp, C. Lévi-Strauss e A. J. Greimas, until the theoretical issues of the greimassian model, raised by P. Ricoeur that brings to the surface important aspects to the critical understanding of the Narrative Semiotics, as deals with the model from a philosophical perspective and question some of its bases, allows us reflect on the choices and impasses which manifest in exercising its theoretical construct.
