Abstract

In this sense, since 1990 architecture an urbanism researches show alternatives solutions to increase the social interest habitations (SIH) inside consolidate areas in large an medium cities; that is also an alternative to habitations located in the cities suburb. The research focus on this urbanization model. Therefore, it will be done graphic analysis of contemporary SIH located in Sao Paulo. This project is part of the research "Social Interest Habitation in São Paulo's central area: a contemporary urbanity possibility in architectural projects made between 2001 to 2004", funded by FAPESP since 2006. Its specific goal is to develop a graphic synthesis of seven projects in São Paulo's central area, to deepen the analysis ways and methods. (AU)
