Abstract

ArchC is an Architecture Description Language (ADL) created at the Computer Systems Laboratory - Institute of Computing - UNICAMP and launched in 2004. The rest design goal was to make design space exploration of processor models, adding, removing, and changing instructions to improve the processor. After 10 years, several other language aspects emerged, including new features to the language. One of the most critical components is the parser, which reads the. ac less and provides the data structures to the other ArchC components. The main focus of this research project is to recreate the parser, integrating the different versions that already exist into a fully compatible parser for all our tools, making it easy for future expansion.(AU)
