Abstract

The observed changes in the rhythms of expansion on real estate production in recent years, observed by the expansion of the supply of new buildings, and also by the clear increase on prices of land and housing is accompanied also by more structural transformations in the organization of real estate capitals, directly responsible for acting on this sector of economic activities. Alongside the opening of several of these capitals in the stock market, resulting in a new level of competition and spatial expansion of its activities, there is still the strong presence of small and medium-sized local capital acting strictly on the scale of each city. Given such constraints as starting points, this research aims to investigate the origin, the beginning of its production, the types of projects carried out (lots and or new houses), their characteris tics, prices and locations, in each of the cities in a comparative perspective, comparing the local real estate agents and those who come from other cities and starting this production from the second half of the years of 1990 and the first decade of 2000.
