Abstract

This project aims to study polymers with pharmacological properties (polymer drugs) to produce scaffolds for cell growth. Thus, is intended to study the synthesis and characterization of a poly (anhydride-ester) derived from adipic and salicylic acid, as well as studies of production of blends with poly (L-lactide) (PLLA) and poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA), and the release of salicylic acid under simulated conditions of biodegradation.
