Abstract

This project aims to identify how an online newsroom is organized, and its particularities. The convergence between journalism and the internet requires from professionals a new way to make news and to structure it, thus differing from traditional models, like newspapers and television. This is a case study of the Brazilian newsroom of DW-World - Deutsche Welle news portal -, managed from Bonn, Germany. The goal of this project is also to complement my current undergraduate research "Deutsche Welle Brazil: how Germany and Brazil are represented in its on-line portal and its newsmaking". (AU)
