Abstract

The research has as its theme the video mapping in the context of the visual arts. The video mapping is a technique that allows video projection, in a controlled way, by mapping certain parts of a surface and not necessarily a single rectangle, how often a video projection. In this direction, each projection is designed for each specif-ic situation or site specificity and can be projected over an object, or on architectural details of a building. The research involves the history of its emergence as artists use this resource, discussion of the concepts involved in this form of art, and poetic project using video mapping, characterizing as a theoretical and practical research.
