Abstract The concept of adequate housing or dignity housing necessarily involves urban planning. The construction of adequate housing must provide access to common use places (streets and squares), and special use facilities (schools, health centers, supply centers, etc&) for the promotion of social rights. The construction of social housing, which main finality is to reduce housing deficit, has not taken into account the structure of urban spaces to check suitability for housing. Houses are built, but not in accordance with the concept of adequate housing, since they were not planned for integrating urban space. This research aims to interpret urban law and housing public policies from its organic integration to the tissues of the city, having as parameter the urban and housing planning occurred in the city of Campinas as stated by its budget laws between the years 2011 and 2013. | |
