Abstract

This postdoctoral research project, associated to FAPESP fellowship BP.PD 13/25219-5, is planned to be executed during one year at the École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications - Telecom ParisTech, under supervision of Prof. Jean-Claude Belfiore. The proposed research topic is the construction and analysis of coding strategies for multiple user communication systems via Euclidean lattice and related structures. Specific communication models of theoretical and practical interest to this proposal include channels with interference, relays, and wiretap channels. This project is strongly related to the Thematic Project "Security and reliability of Information: theory and practice" (FAPESP 13/25977-7), of which the Postdoctoral Applicant is a member and the supervisor in Brazil is a main researcher.
