The research in addition to analyze your technique developed over more than thirty years, still provide a new approach to the compositional process of Carlos Gomes, in a strictly orchestral instrument optics, unveiling another resource for the interpretation of the work of Campinas composer. It is an analytical exploratory study focused on historical musicology scholasticism. Focusing symphonic writing, the set of studies comprises openings, preludes and symphonies operas Noite do Castello, Joana de Flandres, Il Guarany, Fosca, Salvator Rosa, Maria Tudor, Lo Schiavo, Condor and introduction of vocal symphonic poem Colombo.
