Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the user of electronic games and its narrative, discussing and comparing concepts from the field of Game Studies with areas of communication and arts, especially issues of digital media aesthetics relating to the narrative in new media. We intend to reach this goal through extensive theoretical research on the areas already mentioned and field research with users of electronic games. This field research consists of interviews with these users about their experience with games. (AU)
