Abstract

In this research project we aim to investigate the potential of communication for the reorganization of mathematical thinking in a blended training course for teachers of Mathematics, which was developed in an integrated environment to digital technologies, particularly the GeoGebra. From this research, we will seek to deepen the theoretical study of communication and digital technologies in regard to the training of mathematics teachers. This course was developed in the city of Bauru and planned by a team of employees linked to a larger project, of which this PhD is part. The study is qualitative and the data were produced as follows: Through observation by the researcher throughout the process; from reports of each meeting, which were made by the doctoral student and also by other team members; record of all activities and discussions in the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE); recordings of collective discussions about the mathematical activities and questionnaire. Hus, we seek to achieve this goal and to encourage the use of digital technologies in the São Paulo public schools of Bauru, so that such use is linked to the curriculum of elementary school II.
