Abstract

The sedentary lifestyle is associated with the box dyslipidemia, chronic low-grade inflammation and excess weight. Faced with this question, we hypothesized that inflammatory and metabolic changes, systemic and tissue, is favor to installation and progression of several metabolic abnormalities, and are directly involved with the training status. We suggest the involvement of gene transcription factors coordinating such changes, such as peroxisome proliferator -activated gamma (PPAR - ³) and nuclear factor kappa B receptors (NF-kB). The objective of this project is to analyze the immuno-metabolic response of subjects under different conditions of physical training (sedentary, physically active and trained). A better understanding of the mechanisms involved in immune - metabolic response, due to the physical condition, have a direct impact on the elucidation of the issues related to dyslipidemia, as well as the development of new therapies that target intracellular pathways involved in inflammatory processes. To test that hypothesis, will be recruited 30 male subjects, eutrophic, aged between 18 and 30 years, and will be divided into three groups according to aerobic fitness : Sedentary, physically active and Trained. The project will answer two questions: 1) Evaluate the behavior of plasma inflammatory and metabolic parameters during acute aerobic exercise on different groups in the three domains of intensity (moderate, heavy and severe) on a cycle ergometer; 2) Assess the gene expression and activation of gene transcription factors, PPAR - ³ and NF-kB in monocytes (in vitro) of different groups by checking their contributions in immuno- metabolic response according to the presence or absence of agonists and antagonists specific.
