Abstract

Given the significant role of television in a child's development, this research focuses on two television shows that articulate education and entertainment for kids: Rá-Tim-Bum (1990) and Castelo Rá-Tim-Bum (1994), both of them produced and exhibited by TV Cultura. The goal is to understand how the production and education research crew worked together in these series, to then comprehend how the pedagogy influenced both narratives.
