Abstract

The presented research seeks to understand hydro-geomorphological changes occurred in Córrego do Veado watershed, located in the urban perimeter of Presidente Prudente- SP. Using methodologies developed by Moroz - Caccia Gouveia (2010) and Rodrigues (2005, 2010) from the anthropogenic morphology, the changes due to urbanization will be analyzed in the physical system of the watershed. Therefore, from the reconstruction of the original morphology and identification of anthropogenic morphologies, qualitative and quantitative analysis will be executed with the help of evolutionary mapping in order to measure the rate of artificially imposed on the are and its implications on the hydro geomorphological processes.
