Abstract

There is a growing demand for higher distance learning courses in the country, yet the professionals tend to move to the digital plan the same traditional method of classroom teaching, one of the challenges for teaching distance mode. This requires a change in the pedagogical model, developing the skills and competencies of each one, along with the democratization of access to information and communication technologies and affinity for digital media so that there is greater range of people in distance education mode. Production in distance learning requires careful and responsible planning, so our goal is to survey and analyze the scientific production of teaching materials in distance education mode the last five years in Brazil. Data collection will be conducted through the Digital Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) Library of the Brazilian Institute of Scientific and Technological Information (IBICT) and the Bank of CAPES Theses and 'Census EAD.br' The data will be systematized from the quantitative and qualitative approach and we start from the assumption that many institutions limit the use of Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) to media such as printed texts and videos, providing little interactive materials for the student, if the premise is confirmed, our results will re-evaluation of digital educational materials for distance learning, allowing professionals to reflect on their productions and the company is benefited with better education.
