Abstract

This project aims at analyzing the construction of the actor Hillé, which is the main character of the novel 'A Obscena Senhora D', by Hilda Hilst. Our hypothesis is that Hillé's identity is constructed in a complex isotopic axis through a double proceeding of decentralization and concentration: although it is also open and expansive - especially because her identity is formed by the act of rupturing with the world - Hillé updates themes and figures that have been solidified in the isotopies of closing and concentration. Thus, despite closing the doors to the world outside, and then, isolating herself, she is in the pursuit of getting in conjunction with the "truth" and herself, Hillé does not stop projecting herself beyond the walls of her house. The construction of her identity seems to rely not only on the setting of the figurative and thematic paths, and on her unfolding in one or more thematic roles, but also on a kind of dramatization and spectacularization of the identity itself, aiming at constructing a dramatic form of life. In order to carry out our Project, we will make use of the theoretical framework of French Semiotics, mainly the generative process of meaning, as well as the concepts of identity and form of life, as proposed by Jacques Fontanille in most recent elaborations of gremasian semiotics.
