Abstract

This project is a qualitative bibliographic research regarding the semiotic concepts that guide the studies on the processes of identity construction of the actor in the discourse. In order to do that, we propose a qualitative analysis of the theoretical approach that some of these notions (actor, thematic role, identity and attitude) have had throughout the development of French Semiotics, as well as the concept of form of life incorporated to semiotics through Jacques Fontanille's works concerning the current unfoldings of this theory. By doing that, we aim at systematizing the semiotic concepts currently provided to the study of the processes of construction of identity of the actor, likewise a better understanding of the theoretical frame that will lead the research in Brazil, whose aim is to analyze the identity construction of the actor Hillé, main character of the novella A obscena senhora D by Hilda Hilst.
