Antecipation of nitrogen for common bean crop in succession to Urochloa brizantha and Urochloa ruziziensis in the no tillage system

Abstract

Brazil is the world largest producer and consumer of common bean, that in succession to forage grasses under no tillage system has increased grain yield compared to the national average. Nowadays, the reduction time and costs is primordial. One way to reach this aim is the nitrogen anticipation in grasses crop preceding annual crop. However, the researches that aimed the nitrogen anticipation under different times of application and cover species are scarce, evidencing the necessity of new researches. This research will be performed in the 2015/2016 crop year at Botucatu (SP). The experimental design will be the randomized blocks, with factorial scheme 2x6, with four replications. The treatments will be constituted by two forage species (Urochloa brizantha and Urochloa ruziziensis) and by six ways of nitrogen fertilization, these being: control (0 kg ha-1 de N), application of 100 kg ha-1 N in coverage 25 days after emergence of the bean crop, 20 days before the desiccation of cover crops, 10 days before the desiccation of cover crops, 5 days before the desiccation of cover crops and 1 day before the bean crop sowing. Will be analyzed the nutritional status, the production components, the grain yield of the bean crop, the dry matter production by forage species and the accumulation of nutrients before the desiccation. The data will be submitted to variance analysis by F test (p d 0,05) and the results compared by t test LSD (p d 0,05).
