Abstract

This project aims to developed journalistic content about studies on public perception of science and technology (S&T) in Brazil. This work will include a literature review and also interviews with researchers in the field to discuss studies results and paths for science popularization in the country. The journalistic content will also include analyses about public perception of S&T researches developed in other countries in a way to widening the public knowledge on the topic. The contents elaborated will be published mainly on the web radio program "Oxigênio". It is produced through a partnership between the Laboratory of Advanced Studies in Journalism (Labjor) of the University of Campinas (Unicamp) and the Web Radio Unicamp. This project intends to disseminate how the population perceives S&T. It also aims to contribute, through a journalistic production, to knowledge building on possible perspectives for popularization of S&T. Moreover it is also an opportunity to improve radio and journalism skills.
