Abstract

Understanding that Scientific Journalism seeks to defend the public interest in thematic on Science, Technology and Innovation, we conclude that there is a need to inform, contextualize and arouse the interest of the population with respect to these matters. This project seeks to produce journalistic content information about these topics, and more specifically on the activities undertaken jointly by Nucleo de Estudos de População (NEPO) and Nucleo de Pesquisas Ambientais (NEPAM) of the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), about social and ecological dimensions of climate change on the coast of São Paulo state. The focus is to promote the activities of this research, member of FAPESP Research Program on Global Climate Change, the Climate Project website, the portal's institutional NEPAM, the NEPO and communication channels created by the group.
