Abstract

Provide a diet with the correct balance of amino acids is essential to meet the nutritional requirements more accurately, resulting in greater efficiency of use, better synthesis and protein deposition and animal performance. In addition, the formulation of balanced diets makes it possible to reduce costs and environmental pollution generated by the poultry industry. Thus, the aim of this study is to evaluate the responses of birds on the intake of diets with increasing levels of isoleucine and estimate the requirements of this amino acid. The experiment will be conducted with broilers in three phases (Starter phase - 1 to 14 days of age, grower phase - 15 to 28 days and finisher phase - 29 to 42 days old), where 1600 birds will be used in each. Each test will consist of 16 treatments arranged in a factorial 8x2 (eight levels of Isoleucine and both sexes) with five replicates of 20 birds each. The experimental diets will be formulated following the "dilution technique". Are analyzed the following variables: performance (weight gain, feed intake and feed conversion), carcass characteristics (carcass and cuts yield), deposition of nutrients in the body and feathers (protein and fat) and the utilization efficiency isoleucine. The data will be subjected to statistical analysis using SAS 9.2. (AU)
