Abstract

This project that will be developed during the period of research stage at the "École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales", in the city of Paris, France, intends to deepen the study of the nymph image. Such deepening will be made by means of research bibliographic contemplating texts that can not be found in Brazil and through dialogue with European contemporary researchers. Among them, we highlight the philosopher and art historian Georges Didi-Huberman, whose idea of "survivor image" and the studies done from work of the art historian Aby Warburg - that follow the passage of the nymph in the history of literature and art - are fundamental to the theoretical axis from which this research is oriented.
