Abstract

Currently, cleft lip and palate are among the most common birth defects, causing bone deformities and dental abnormalities among them the absence or malformation of the permanent lateral incisor or the presence of supernumerary teeth with extraction indication. As the fissure makes the use of conventional prostheses by the lack of adequate support, installing implants becomes feasible. The objective of this study is to survey the implant survival rate through chart analysis of patients Anomalies Craniofacial Hospital - USP undergoing implant placement in the areas of the fissure. Through the data collected from medical records will be made implants of survival time ratio correlated with age and sex of patients, and whether or not bone grafting and time of realization, the implant installation time and their characteristics, the temporary prosthesis installation and final and their characteristics and the date of the last control of the implant.
