Abstract

He objective of this research is to analyze the black and indigenous representations in history textbooks of elementary school and how this is reflected in the concepts built by teachers and students. It is intended to verify the changes and continuities in relation to indigenous and black representations of the adoption of laws 10.639 / 03 and 11.645 / 08 focusing on the process of production and reception. For that, we use as a source of research a textbook collection for history teaching published by Editora FTD, reworked edition 2012. For the analysis of circulation or the reception modes of textbooks, contents will be involved eight (08) students enrolled in Elementary Education II (6th to 9th grade) and 01 teacher who has experience working with discipline and uses the medium of their lessons the books this collector. Pretender is collected oral testimony of that teaching, as well as apply questionnaires to students.
