Abstract

Oral presentations are of great importance both in professional circles and in academia. But most people have difficulties in exposing these presentations, especially among academic. The oral presentation is a genre that must presuppose a prior planning, in which students must demonstrate the ability to draw up an oral text related to the theme and content of certain research and demonstrates also the ability to use certain features language (verbal and nonverbal) and discursive appropriate and this genre. The Neuro Linguistic Programming proposing the possibility to program the minds of the people through the use of language, since it advocates the purely pragmatic, caring primarily with getting results. The objective of this work is the creation and application of a support material to instruct the use of linguistic resources (how to speak, how to use gestures and intonation and vocal projection) in oral presentations, in order to provide better performance in presentations, focused to higher education students. Participants will be ten students of course Speech Therapy, selected by the researcher to register itself to be delivered from room to room Speech Therapy course, FOB-USP for the dissemination of search. It will be prepared handout material form and will be available for virtual learning environment for the students query (Moodle system) in the form of training with active learning methodology, alternating theoretical and practical training part. Participants will have an oral presentation your videotaped and analyzed by three judges (two speech therapists and a psychologist) before and after receiving the training, so that the data are analyzed in a comparative way.
