Abstract

This project aims at the study and development of reactional conditions to achieve effective enantioselective oxidative Heck reactions under optimized conditions. We will evaluate the performance of several solvents, paladium sources, chiral ligands and oxidizing agents. The expectation is that we can generate a large library of compounds from diverse boronic acids to synthesize advanced intermediates containing multiple functional groups which should allow the synthesis of compounds with synthetic and medicinal value.
