Abstract

This proposal of pós-PhD intent to continue with my PhD research which was financed by FAPESP and submitted in may 2016. My PhD research searched to investigate like work organization forms in the music sector are influenced by cultural policy. But now I intent to study like the cultural and creative works are influenced by cultural policy in comparison between two countries. Like one of the results was identified an organic network between the cultural and creative agents that arrange opportunities of work, but in many times it is supported by public funds. This research have as proposal to study the concepts and practices of Creative Economy and to compare Brazilian cultural policy with the UK cultural policy. Are going to study the conceptual and ideological basis of the cultural policy in each country, and study about the ideia of arts, creativity and culture, about the value and the way that the state distributes the public money. Are going to study too about the productive process, organic and built by the cultural and creative class. Parameters will be established for to compare both cultural policies through literature readings, public official document analysis and field research with the cultural and creative entrepreneurs of the two countries. Will be used Creative Works Methodology, the important research which have been developed between 2012 and 2016 by researchers of the Queen Mary University of London Like field research will be analyzed hubs in São Paulo and Birmingham-UK. The aim in this research is recognize the influence the cultural policy in the organic building of the networks search understand if the aspects the creative economy is a cultural policy modelo or new development model.
