Abstract

Studies suggest that there is a relationship between thyroid dysfunction and psychiatric disorders. Forman-Hoffman et al., with the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, demonstrated that low levels of TSH and free T4 were associated with depression in men and the levels of free T4 in women (Forman-Hoffman et al., 2006)...
