Abstract

The testicles tumor in dog are most often diagnosed in geriatric patients with oncological problems. However, there are fews studis about the stereoidogenesis testicular cancerin dogs. The unfolding of the enzyme chain involved with testicular steroidogenesis are responsibles directly or indirectly for the production of androgens.The present project aim to study the expression of P450c17 enzymes, 3²HSD, 17²HSD and P450 aromatase and possibles conexions from serum control of testosterone and correlation between carcinogenesis and steroidogenesis in dogs with testicular tumor. Samples of testicular tissues and bloods will be analyzed from castrations campaigns in São Paulo States previously selected and classified by medical records used in the study. Histopathological examination will be performed caraceterization of tumor by immunohistochemical and Western Blotting analysis. In addition, will be measure hormonal for blood samples for free testosterone level. In this way, reserchers about testicular disordes can helps understand the complexus mechanims involving cancer this organ in dogs. (AU)
