Abstract

The variability of the heart rate, through the R-R intervals, allows the measurement of sympathetic and parasympathetic tone. In particular the parasympathetic tonus (RMMSD), which has been used as an internal training load parameter with the objective of individually monitoring the level of physiological stress of each session. Studies with endurance training and individualized manipulation of recovery have shown that the increase in maximal oxygen consumption (VO2max.) Is greater when the rest interval is performed in an individualized way, compared to the same training performed with interval between sessions of Form. The parasympathetic tone is also sensitive to resistance training. Some studies have verified that the parasympathetic indicators reflect acute sessions in strength training. Taking into consideration the recommendations of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), it is possible to suggest from the evidence to date that a period of interval is sufficient for the recovery of some individuals, but not for others, thus impacting the resulting adaptations of strength training. Therefore, the objective of the present study will be to verify if the strength training performed with interval of recovery between sessions of individualized form promotes greater increase in strength and muscle hypertrophy than resistance training performed with constant recovery intervals of 48h between sessions, 20 Sessions. All groups performed 20 resistance training sessions. (AU)
