Abstract We will investigate physical and mathematical properties of quantum spin chains. The focus will be in two aspects of the quantum inverse scattering method. The first one is the development of the modified algebraic Bethe ansatz aiming the construction of the off-shell Bethe vector for, for example, SL(3) spin chains with integrable non-diagonal boundary conditions. The second main problem is the calculation of scalar products and form factors, taking into account recent developments such as in the separation of variables framework. In addition, we will consider related problems and possible applications. (AU) | |
