Abstract

The proportional + integral + derivative controllers (PID) are widely used in the industry due to its structure containing integral and derivative actions and have a fixed order. In literature, there are several methods for their tuning. However, since it is a fixed gain controller, variations in the plant can significantly interfere with the desired performance and need to be compensated. Thus, this design offers an adaptation of the PID parameters in order to keep the loop closed transfer function as close to the nominal used in the line. For this modeling is the control structure as an overdetermined linear system with restrictions and uses a linear optimization method for the controller parameters. (AU)
