Abstract

This research project considers theoretical analysis and computational implementation of a GRASP (Greedy Randomized Adaptive Search Procedure) algorithm applied to the problem of reconfiguration of primary feeders in power distribution systems. Thus, we intend to develop a GRASP algorithm capable of generating radial topologies of quality in the constructive phase and, subsequently, to improve the quality of these radial topologies through a neighborhood search algorithm. As part of the research project, a specialized radial load flow algorithm to find the losses of each proposal solution chosen by the metaheuristic, will be developed. It also will be used to verify if the proposed solution is feasible of operational point of view, ie, if there are no violations of current in the feeders or voltage limits in the buses of the system. With the algorithm developed, it is intended to test existing systems in the specialized literature. (AU)
