Abstract

The present research project considers the theoretical analysis and the computational implementation of a GRASP (Greedy Randomized Adaptive Search Procedure) algorithm applied to the problem of optimal allocation of distributed generators in electric energy distribution systems. Thus, we intend to develop a GRASP algorithm to allocate generators distributed to minimize losses. Initially, a review of analytical techniques which allocate only a distributed generator and techniques that use sensitivity. These be incorporated in the construction phase of GRASP and in the local improvement phase. As part of the research project, we must also implement a specialized radial load flow algorithm to find the losses of each proposed solution chosen by the metaheuristic and also to verify if the proposed solution is feasible from the operational point of view, that is, if there are no breaches of limits of in the feeders or voltage limits on the system buses. With the algorithm developed, it is intended to test existing systems in the specialized literature.
